Robin is one of the UK's most exciting figurative artists.
His stunning contemporary nudes and female figures are
painted exclusively in oils, and many of his techniques
and methods are classical in execution. There is a
strong sense of modernity in his work however, which
originates in his rich use of contextual colour and his
playful approach to perspective. His detailed figures are
placed against bold blocks of colour set at interesting
planes and angles, which introduces a feeling of
energy and warmth.
